Finding Aberdovey on a map may prove a little difficult, as different maps use either the English or Welsh spelling - look out for Aberdovey or Aberdyfi
Nestling in the heart of mid-Wales, Aberdovey is easy to reach by car and train. The railway station is a five minute walk from the flats along flat pavements. Alternatively, there is a local taxi firm who can collect your from the train station. National Express coaches operate an express service daily to Aberystwyth with frequent local connections.

Arriving by Train
A regular train service operates between the Midlands and Aberdovey. Please use the Railtrack online timetable or ring the information line on 08457 484950 for more information on train times and availability.
There are two train stations at either end of Aberdovey – Penhelig Halt, which is a 3 minute walk from our Glanaber cottage and Aberdovey Station is a 5 minute walk from the apartments. Alternatively, there is a local taxi company who can arrange to collect you from the station when your train arrives in Aberdovey: Dyfi Cabs 07831 551538 & 07773 385335
Arriving by Coach and Bus
National Express operate a coach service to Aberystwyth where a local bus can take you to the centre of Aberdovey.
Please use the National Express website to find out more information and book coach tickets. The local bus service is operated by Arriva. Phone the Arriva travel line on 0170 601 2601 for local bus times.
