Dovey/Dyfi Cottages & Aberdovey Holidays is a marketing agency and we do not own or manage any of the cottages/apartments listed on the website. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement directly between you and the property owner.
 
How to book your holiday cottage
The easiest and quickest way to book your accommodation is online. The booking system is live and up to date. You can make a booking by selecting your preferred cottage or apartment and then clicking on the 'book online' or 'availability' button. Simply select the date you plan to arrive on the availability calendar and this will take you through to the secure online booking form.
 
Booking and Payment 
For bookings made more than 8 weeks before arrival, a 30% deposit of the total cost of the holiday plus the £24 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking. 
For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable plus the £24 non-refundable booking fee at the time of booking.
 
How to pay
You can pay by debit or credit card. There is no charge for paying by credit card.  
You may pay by cheque, please note a cheque cannot be accepted if the booking is made within 21 days of the commencement of the holiday.
 
Short Breaks
Not all the cottages or apartments advertised are available for short breaks. Where short breaks are advertised, they are available from the following days:
For Friday changeovers:        Friday to Monday for 3 nights & Monday to Friday for 4 nights
For Saturday changeovers:    Saturday to Tuesday for 3 nights & Tuesday to Saturday for 4 nights
During the low season (Nov – Feb) arrival dates may be more flexible for last minute bookings, although these exclude Sundays and holidays. The minimum number of nights you may book is 3.
 
Travel Insurance 
We strongly advise you to take out holiday and cancelled booking insurance to safeguard your holiday from any unavoidable reasons. These include illness, family illness, accidents, adverse weather conditions, medical appointments, etc. Please refer to the terms & conditions.
 
Parking/Car Pass
Most properties do not have private parking, therefore owners have provided a complimentary car pass for you to use in the pay & display car parks in Aberdyfi. The number of car passes provided are advertised on the property’s web page.
 
These are annual car passes the owners have purchased from Gwynedd County Council, therefore we are unable to provide additional car passes for any of the cottages. It is important you return the car pass to the property when you leave to avoid paying car park charges for the next guests.
 
WI-FI
Most cottages & apartments offer free Wi-Fi.  The speed and availability is dependant on the supplier and cannot be guaranteed. This is a complimentary service and therefore, in the event of failure, owners will not be liable to make compensation payments.
