Comments from the visitors book

It’s a lovely house with excellent facilities and everything in good condition.  Had a very good time and would not hesitate to book a holiday with you again.  For us ‘Monopoly’ was the highlight and also the fab bath tub.

The house suited three generations with the six of us finding the home to be very spacious, full of character, clean and tidy. It is hard to determine any negatives as it has exceeded all of our expectations of a self-catering break with a lovely friendly lady next door.

We’ve had a great holiday here (in spite of the weather!) – A really lovely house with lots of room for our family of 10. Excellent location with lots to do for young children nearby – we’ve enjoyed crabbing, the steam railway at Tywyn, King Arthurs Labyrinth, CAT, Borth Animalarium etc. The adults have enjoyed good meals at Sea breeze, Medina café and Sunflower Café. Staff at Dovey Cottages were very helpful dealing with any problems. Thanks!

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful and comfortable house. Everything we could possibly have needed was provided, and all amenities are in tip top condition. Bathrooms are sparkling, with superb fittings; bedrooms have comfy beds with an elegant mix of modern and charming vintage and antique furniture. We love the Velux skylights in the upper bedroom and bathroom, and our daughter said there were better than hers at home! We loved crabbing, walking on the beach, taking the train to Harlech Castle (it’s cheaper to get in if you take the train and not drive!) Browsing the fantastic Aberdovey shops. Thank you we will be back!

What a find! My first time back in Wales for many years, and I was delighted to make Morfan my base. The weather was pretty bad, so it was especially important to have a clean and comfortable, spacious, well-equipped house to call home for the week. And this has to be the most elegant holiday house I’ve ever rented. Good location for the beach activities – I’ll have to come back when it’s sunnier! Thank you!

What a lovely time we’ve had here on a return visit to this beautiful house! A new adventure was a train ride (just 1 hour) from Aberdovey (5 mins down the road) to Harlech. That is a superb castle. (Rail tickets give you a big discount on the castle entry fee!) Thank you for a lovely holiday once more – We’ll be back next year
