This gentle four mile walk soon gets you up above Aberdyfi, enjoying fine views over the mouth of the Dyfi estuary and south towards Borth and Aberystwyth.

Dolgoch has some very pretty waterfalls along this 1 mile easy walk.

Blue Lake is a lagoon in the old Golwern Slate Quarry above Fairbourne. It is accessed by foot only through a dark, wet tunnel.

A walk along the Roman Road and Picnic Island which takes you above the village with views along the estuary and mountains.

A walk along the Happy Valley ridge. This walk is about 6 1/2 miles and should take 3 1/2 hours.

This walk will take you up into the hills behind Aberdovey to Bearded Lake. The walk is approximately 10 miles and should take around 4 1/2 hours.

The initial part of this 3-mile walk traverses the flood plain of the river Dyfi, the haunt of wildfowl and duck. A short section beside the river leads to the return through woods.
