Church Bay Apartment offers self-catering pet-friendly holiday accommodation with astounding views of the Dyfi/Dovey estuary, sea and harbour from all aspects. It has been newly decorated and furnished with a very modern, contemporary, but comfortable feel, with quality furnishings. Open plan living space and a spacious garden with estuary, and beach views.
Aberdovey /Aberdyfi is a thriving little harbour resort, surrounded by spectacular views of Snowdonia National Park mountain ranges where the River Dyfi, meets the blue waters of Cardigan Bay and within easy reach of Cader Idris, Aran Fawddwy, Aran Benllyn, the Rhinogs. Fabulous for keen walkers/hikers. It boasts an award-winning 6-mile beach and championship Lynx golf course, just a stone's throw from the apartment.
Aberdyfi has water sports galore, Sailing, sailboarding, rowing, canoeing, kayaking and jet skiing. It also has fishing boat trips. In the Summer there are yachting regattas, sailboarding competitions and other water sports events, along with family entertainment.

Sleeps 6 people in 1 double, 1 twin & 1 bunk.

Entrance - Leading to a light spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area, double bedroom, one twin bedroom & one bunk bedroom with door leading to rear garden. All on one level.
Living/Dining Room - Light & spacious open plan with a large L-shaped sofa, double settee, and Eames leather armchair with a perfect position in the window to capture the amazing sea views. 40" LCD/DVD TV with Freeview, dining table with seating for six people.
Kitchen - Fully fitted, with dishwasher, free standing fridge and freezer, washing machine, built-under electric oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, cafatiere, iron and ironing board.
Bedroom 1 - Twin bedroom with freestanding double wardrobe, dressing table, mirror and stool.
Bedroom 2 - Double bedroom with en-suite, fitted wardrobe, chest of drawers
En-suite - Shower room with enclosed shower, hand basin and toilet
Bedroom 3 - Bunk bedroom with solid oak bunk beds (3ft beds). Chest of drawers, small hanging space. Door leading to patio/garden area
Bathroom - Bath with handheld shower, washbasin & toilet
Garden Patio Area – Outside seating area. There are 2 steps to the raised grassed garden with 3 steps to the raised patio (Children must not be left unattended in the garden area due to steep steps and different levels)

Aberdyfi / Aberdovey
The picturesque harbour village of Aberdyfi / Aberdovey is renowned for its mild climate, sandy beaches, sailing and a championship 18-hole links golf course (rated in the UK's top 100). The village is often referred to as “an artist's paradise” with its pastel coloured cottages, small shops, inns and excellent restaurants which specialise in local seafood, all helping to create a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Aberdyfi / Aberdovey boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain, with four miles of golden sand-dune backed shoreline running north to Tywyn, home of the world-famous Talyllyn narrow gauge Steam Railway, crab fishing and the famous Dyfi Donkeys. The beaches are popular with sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fishermen while the estuary attracts a wide range of water sports enthusiasts.
The peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complemented by the charm of the Dyfi, Dysynni and Tal y Llyn valleys nearby. An ideal area for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers, and a wonderful all-year-round location.

Booking and Payment - For bookings made more than 8 weeks before arrival, a 30% deposit of the total cost of the holiday plus the £24 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking. The balance is then due 8 weeks before the holiday commences.
For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable plus the £24 non-refundable booking fee at the time of booking.
Infant facilities - One travel cot & one high chair (bedding is not provided for the travel cot)
Pets - Maximum of one small well behaved pet is welcome at an additional cost of £20.
Wi-Fi - Free Wi-Fi is available however, the owner cannot guarantee the availability or speed of the service as this is dependent on third-party suppliers.
Parking - Street parking may be available but can be very limited. There is one free car pass available in the apartment for the Aberdyfi 'pay & display' car park, 300 meters away next to the beach. (spaces are subject to availability). Sorry, we are unable to provide additional car passes.
Short Breaks - When and where available, they can be booked for a minimum of 3 nights from the following days:
- Friday to Monday for a 3-night weekend break
- Monday to Friday for a 4-night midweek break
During November to February arrival days may be more flexible nearer the time although these exclude Sundays and any holidays.
Safety - The main road outside the property can get quite busy, please be mindful of cars appearing suddenly and be especially cautious when children are exiting the property.
Children must not be left unattended in the garden area due to steep steps and different levels.
There are a large number of steep steps that lead up to Tabernacle's main front door and a further three large steps to enter the main building, followed by two flights of stairs to this second-floor apartment. There is an inclined path that runs up the left-hand side of the building to the main front door.
Access - Please contact us immediately if there are any specific needs you may have, including disability needs. It is essential that we are given as much information as possible about your requirements to avoid booking an unsuitable property. Some locations do not lend themselves to easy
access and facilities, so please ask first to avoid disappointment. The choice is ultimately the responsibility of the person booking the property, and we cannot be held responsible should a property be booked that is unsuitable or inappropriate.

What a lovely week we have had in an amazing apartment with the very best of views! Couldn't have asked for more! The apartment is decorated and furnished to a very high standard and we have felt very at home here! Very sad to be leaving. We shall miss Aberdovey but equally the apartment with stunning views! This is our second stay in Aberdyfi, within four months, and we have found our perfect holiday retreat for all future visits. What a wonderful, beautifully furnished apartment, with the best sea views you could wish for. We shall certainly be recommending to friends and family. Also delighted that it is dog friendly, as many cottages in Aberdyfi are not. Penhelig Arms is certainly worth a visit - Excellent food and good service. We will be booking our next visit soon.
Such a beautiful Apartment, and one that you really feel comfortable and completely at home in. The views from the windows are of course simply stunning, doesn't matter really if there a couple of wet days, you can just sit and watch the ever-changing scenery. We have really loved our stay here and are sad that they are over. This is our second visit to Aberdyfi and I very much loved our stay here and are sad that it is over.
