A short walk down the hill you will find the Dovey Inn and The Britannia Inn, shops, restaurants, and all amenities, Dyfi View is also minutes away from the beach, jetty (for your crabbing), water sports, beautiful mountain walks, and is located next to the Welsh Coastal Path.
The apartment is an ideal location for the local area’s attractions. From fabulous walking for the enthusiast or just a stroll, the Centre for Alternative Technology at Machynlleth; the award-winning Talyllyn narrow-gauge railway, castles at Criccieth, Caernarfon and Harlech, a four-mile sandy beach and Aberdyfi championship links golf course in Aberdovey / Aberdyfi itself, river and sea fishing and much more besides. Bird watchers can sometimes see red kites from the apartment, visit the RSPB nature reserve at Ynis Hir; or visit the Dyfi Osprey Project near Machynlleth (watch their live stream at https://www.dyfiospreyproject.com/live-streaming)

Entrance- A small bridge leads directly from the roadside (no steps), into the hallway with a coat rack and wall map.
The hallway leads on to the lounge and separately to the dining room. There is a separate kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom and shower room, all on one level.
Living Room - spacious and airy with stunning views, comfortable two-seater settee, two armchairs with footstools, TV with Freeview, HDD recorder, and DVD player.
Outdoor Terrace – South-facing terrace with wonderful views of the Dovey Estuary and Cardigan Bay. Four chairs and a table.
Dining Room - sunny room with spectacular views. Dining table with seating for four people, 2 seater settee, easy chair, and patio doors leading out to the terrace.
Kitchen - fully fitted with a dishwasher, under counter fridge, and under counter freezer, built under electric oven with grill, gas hob, toaster, kettle, cafetiere, teapot, microwave, and washer/dryer. Small utility cupboard with iron, ironing board.
Bedroom 1 - Ensuite bedroom, with a king-sized bed, electric blanket and clock radio, generous built-in wardrobe, bedside tables, and TV. Views over the Dyfi estuary.
Bathroom – Ensuite, with toilet, washbasin and shower over bath, touch-free lighted mirror with shaver point.
Bedroom 2 - Twin bedroom, electric blankets, built-in wardrobe with hanging space and shelves, small wicker drawers, bedside table, reading lights and small wall-mounted TV.
Shower room - Large shower, washbasin and toilet. Lighted mirror with shaver point.
Parking - Space for one car opposite garage number 10 close by. A Car Park Pass, valid during the summer season, (May to October) for the Pay & Display car park next to the beach, is also supplied

Aberdyfi / Aberdovey
The picturesque harbour village of Aberdyfi / Aberdovey is renowned for its mild climate, sandy beaches, sailing and a championship 18-hole links golf course (rated in the UK's top 100). The village is often referred to as “an artist's paradise” with its pastel coloured cottages, small shops, inns and excellent restaurants which specialise in local seafood, all helping to create a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Aberdyfi / Aberdovey boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain, with four miles of golden sand-dune backed shoreline running north to Tywyn, home of the world-famous Talyllyn narrow gauge Steam Railway, crab fishing and the famous Dyfi Donkeys. The beaches are popular with sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fishermen while the estuary attracts a wide range of water sports enthusiasts.
The peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complemented by the charm of the Dyfi, Dysynni and Tal y Llyn valleys nearby. An ideal area for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers, and a wonderful all-year-round location.

Booking and Payment
Dyfi Cottages & Aberdyfi Holidays is a marketing agency and we do not own or manage any of the accommodation listed on our websites. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement between you and the property owner.
For bookings made more than eight weeks before arrival, a 30% deposit of the total cost of the holiday is required at the time of booking. The balance is then due eight weeks before the holiday commences.
For bookings made less than eight weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable at the time of booking.
Security deposits are not normally required. Please note that guests are still liable for any damage, breakages, or additional cleaning required as a result of their actions.
Arrival & Departure times
Arrival time is from 5 pm/ Departure time is no later than 9.30 am.
Please note: check-in and check-out times at the majority of our properties have been temporarily revised. The revised times for this property are reflected above.
Short breaks are available out of season for a minimum of 3 nights and can be booked from the following days:
- Saturday to Tuesday for a 3-night weekend break
- Tuesday to Saturday for a 4-night midweek break
During November to February arrival days may be more flexible nearer the time although these exclude Sundays and any holidays.
Bed linen & towels are provided.
Heating & Electric
Heating and electricity are included in the accommodation price.
There are no infant facilities at Dyfi View Apartment
Regrettably, pets are not accepted.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. The owner cannot guarantee the availability or speed of the service as this is dependent on third-party suppliers.
Parking There is parking for one car, opposite garage number 10, situated under the apartments in the next block up the hill, two minutes away. Roadside parking is available directly outside the apartment. A Car Park Pass, valid during the summer season, (May to October) for the Pay & Display car park next to the beach is also supplied.
Dyfi View Apartment is in a quiet residential location away from the hustle and bustle of the village and close to hillside walking routes.
Access, Health and Safety
The maximum occupancy is 4 guests
The apartment is on one level, access is via a footbridge, and there are no steps (apart from the doorstep threshold). Dyfi View Apartment is situated in an elevated position above the village, therefore the road leading up to the property is very steep.
The outside terrace has a low wall, topped by railings. However, beyond this is a steep drop. Please ensure that children are supervised at all times in and around the property, especially the terrace area.
Please contact us immediately if there are any specific needs you may have, including disability needs. It is essential that we are given as much information as possible about your requirements to avoid booking an unsuitable property. Some locations do not lend themselves to easy access and facilities, so please ask first to avoid disappointment. The choice is ultimately the responsibility of the person booking the property, and we cannot be held responsible should a property be booked that is unsuitable or inappropriate.
