A 3 storey seafront townhouse just a stone's throw away from the sea with lovely sea views and a light and airy feel. The property is close to the local amenities and Aberdovey's / Aberdyfi's sandy beach. Madeira offers pet-friendly holiday accommodation with fantastic views.
Conveniently situated close to the shops, pubs, restaurants and all amenities, Madeira is minutes away from the beach, jetty (for your crabbing), water sports, and beautiful mountain walks and located next to the Welsh Coastal Path.

Madeira is ideally placed for Aberdovey's / Aberdyfi's local attractions with good hill walking at your front door, a four-mile sandy beach, a championship links Aberdovey Golf Club and great places to eat and drink.
Further afield you can explore the Ynys-Hir RSPB Reserve which is a wildlife haven in the heart of Wales, made famous by the BBC Spring Watch programme, The Dyfi Osprey Project (please follow the link to watch live: http://www.dyfiospreyproject.com/live-streaming), The Ceredigion Heritage Coast along Cardigan Bay, the Cambrian Mountains and not forgetting the lakes, small towns and villages, picturesque resorts and harbours.

Entrance Hall - Leading to kitchen and spacious dining room (Please be aware of the small step up into the dining room).
Dining Room - With fine sea views, a large dining table and chairs to seat ten.
Kitchen - Fully fitted galley style, with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, built-in under counter oven and gas hob, microwave and washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your self-catering needs.
Shower Room - Enclosed shower with sink and toilet.
First floor
Living Room - with two large windows overlooking the Dyfi estuary and Plynlimon mountain range, electric living flame effect stove, three-piece suite and occasional chairs, LCD TV Freeview/Video & DVD player
Bathroom - Electric shower over bath, washbasin, heated towel rail and drying cupboard with tumble dryer
W.C: - Washbasin and toilet
Bedroom 1 - One twin bedroom with washbasin, tea making facilities and fridge

Location

Aberdyfi / Aberdovey
The picturesque harbour village of Aberdyfi / Aberdovey is renowned for its mild climate, sandy beaches, sailing and a championship 18-hole links golf course (rated in the UK's top 100). The village is often referred to as “an artist's paradise” with its pastel coloured cottages, small shops, inns and excellent restaurants which specialise in local seafood, all helping to create a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Aberdyfi / Aberdovey boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain, with four miles of golden sand-dune backed shoreline running north to Tywyn, home of the world-famous Talyllyn narrow gauge Steam Railway, crab fishing and the famous Dyfi Donkeys. The beaches are popular with sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fishermen while the estuary attracts a wide range of water sports enthusiasts.
The peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complemented by the charm of the Dyfi, Dysynni and Tal y Llyn valleys nearby. An ideal area for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers, and a wonderful all-year-round location.

Further information about your holiday rental
Booking and Payment - For bookings made more than 8 weeks before arrival, a 30% deposit of the total cost of the holiday is required at the time of booking. The balance is then due 8 weeks before the holiday commences.
For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable at the time of booking.
Security Deposit - Security deposits are not required at Madeira. Please note that guests are still liable for any damage or additional cleaning required as a result of their actions.
Arrival & Departure times - Arrival time is from 4pm / Departure time is no later than 10am.
Short Breaks - When and where available, they can be booked for a minimum of 3 nights from the following days:
- Friday to Monday for a 3-night weekend break
- Monday to Friday for a 4-night mid-week break
During November to February arrival days may be more flexible nearer the time although these exclude Sundays and any holidays.
Bed Linen- Bed linen is provided and beds are made up ready for your arrival (guests to supply own towels).
Heating & Electric - Heating and electric are included in the accommodation price.
Infant facilities- One travel cot & one high chair (bedding is not provided for the travel cot). Sorry, there is no stair gate provided.
Pets - Maximum of two small well behaved pets are welcome at an additional cost of £25 (to be kept downstairs).
Wi-Fi - Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. The owner cannot guarantee the availability or speed of the service as this is dependent on third party suppliers.
Parking - There is one free car pass provided in Madeira for the Aberdyfi 'pay & display' car parks. The nearest one is 400 meters away next to the beach (spaces are subject to availability). Street parking may be available but can be very limited. Sorry, we are unable to supply additional car passes.
Health and Safety- The property is located on the main street and the road can get quite busy during the peak holiday season. Please ensure you supervise children when exiting the property.
Access - Please contact us immediately if there are any specific needs you may have, including disability needs. It is essential that we are given as much information as possible about your requirements to avoid booking an unsuitable property. Some locations do not lend themselves to easy access and facilities, so please ask first to avoid disappointment. The choice is ultimately the responsibility of the person booking the property, and we cannot be held responsible should a property be booked that is unsuitable or inappropriate.
Location - Situated on the main road in the centre of the village there can be some associated noise during busier times.
Photographs - In order to provide you with as much detail of the properties as possible, we sometimes use wide-angle photography, which can make certain rooms or spaces appear larger than they actually are. If you have any queries regarding the size of any rooms, please do not hesitate to contact us.
